Hashprice

Hashprice measures gross revenue per unit of hashrate. We count the block subsidy only and exclude transaction fees, electricity, and pool fees. It moves with ZEC price and network hashrate.

Block Reward Schedule

The Zcash block subsidy halves every 1,680,000 blocks, roughly every four years. The dashboard reads the current reward from live block height, so the numbers stay correct through each halving. Dates below assume steady 75-second blocks.

Reward figures count the block subsidy only. Estimated dates drift with real network timing; the protocol fixes heights and rewards.

How This Calculator Works

Zcash mines about 1,152 blocks per day on 75-second targets, and each block pays a subsidy that the calculator reads from live block height (1.5625 ZEC in the current epoch). Your share equals your hashrate divided by network hashrate.

ZEC/day = (your kSol/s ÷ network kSol/s) × 1,152 blocks × 1.5625 ZEC × (1 − pool fee)

Revenue is that ZEC at market price. Cost is electricity: watts × 24 hours ÷ 1,000 × your rate per kWh. Your power rate decides the outcome: U.S. residential power averages about $0.17/kWh, and hosted industrial power runs near $0.065/kWh. Compare your numbers against SHA-256 hardware in the Bitcoin mining calculator, or read how hosting works if you already own machines.

Live figures come from Blockchair. The history charts blend measured hashprice, sampled every five minutes from mining-pool data since July 2026, with an estimated daily series for the prior year. Values cache at the edge for about five minutes. None of this is financial advice.
